Hesion opens a subsidiary in Switzerland

Hesion, our company specialising in smart parking solutions , is proud to announce the opening of a new subsidiary in Switzerland this month . Here is a look at how it came about and the future prospects for our new location.

Why is Hesion opening a Swiss subsidiary?

Switzerland shares key values with Hesion: a genuine passion for innovation, a commitment to quality and respect for promises made. We have gradually extended Hesion's offering to prestigious clients such as Migros, CERN, Fondation des Parkings, SIG, Philip Morris and many others. Their loyalty undoubtedly owes something to our commitment to serving them well, as well as our recognised technological lead, particularly in innovative solutions for car park operations.

Our presence in Switzerland

With an established presence in French-speaking Switzerland, we decided to set up in Fribourg . Both the canton and the city are particularly appealing thanks to their location on the « Röstigraben », the boundary between French- and German-speaking Switzerland. We therefore created Hesion Suisse to be even closer to our current and future customers … Our bilingual business development manager for Switzerland will help strengthen our presence across all the cantons of the Confederation.

Future prospects for Hesion

Hesion is a mobility specialist with a natural place in the « smart city » concept. Our smart parking development activity has been growing strongly for several years. Our growth plans are both geographical, in German-speaking Switzerland, and technical, across the different segments of our offering: parking management solutions , vehicle flow optimisation , car park safety and smoke extraction , air quality management , and fixed and portable gas detection .

Hesion Suisse is our first international subsidiary. It is a wonderful adventure that – we hope – may take us to Switzerland's other neighbours, but that is another story …
